Nursing/ Residential homes

Care Bliss Healthcare Solutions is a trusted provider to many of the UK’s largest nursing/residential home groups. We provide a variety of roles including Care Staff, Nursing Staff, Unit Managers, Home Managers, Regional Managers and Executive Placements.

Our nursing/residential homes division boasts experienced and knowledgeable recruitment consultants who understand the sector and supply staff on a permanent, contract, and an ad-hoc agency basis to an impressive portfolio of clients.

Live-in care

If around-the-clock care is needed, we can arrange for one of our experienced carers to provide live-in care for the client in their home.

This is the most intensive level of care that we offer. The service includes caring for personal needs such as bathing and dressing, and a live-in carer will also tend to light housekeeping duties and accompany the client on social outings as well as holidays abroad.

The client needs to provide a room with essential amenities for the carer. There is also a requirement for the care to have a 3 hour break which can be covered by a relief carer if necessary.

Home care

Care in your own home, on your terms – An increasing number of people are choosing to stay at home rather than move to a care home, or sheltered housing. There has been a consensus for a while staying at home has many recognised benefits such as:

  • Continuing to enjoy life in a familiar environment
  •  Friends and family can visit at any time
  •  You have complete control over the choice of carer
  •  The carer will be focused 100% on your specific needs
  •  You have complete control over the choice and timing of your meals and the way they are cooked.
  •  You decide how the carer attends to your needs, from going for a walk, to attending to your personal care.

  •  You avoid the big loss of independence inevitably associated with being “institutionalised”.

    Which areas can I find work in?

    What do I need as part of my application?

    As part of your application we will ask for:

    • Passport / Birth certificate for your Right to Work check
    • A copy of your full UK Driving Licence
    • Proof of address (utility bill, council tax, bank statement) that has been issues within the last 3 months
    • 2 satisfactory references (at least one from a previous employer). If you have worked in care before, one of the references must be from that care provider. 
    • Satisfactory DBS (Paid for by BelleVie)
    • Proof of Vaccination Status (Covid Passport)
    • Health Check Declaration

    How long will it take until I can start the role?

    After all the necessary checks and mandatory training. This will be discussed with your at interview

    Will I need previous experience of providing care and support?

    Training will be provided for those with no previous experience.

    Why is the registration process so onerous, I never had to do this even for my current employer?

    We recognize that registration with the Care Bliss can be a time-consuming process: as a responsible healthcare recruiter we are bound by the statutory recruitment and care standards regulations as well as the regulations and requirements of our clients. To help you to achieve full compliance we have partnered with a number of organisations and have dedicated teams of clearance and research staff to assist you. Ultimately remember it will all be worthwhile as once you are cleared to work with us we have a number of different agency brands that you will automatically become eligible to work for.

    This all seems a lot of work that I have to do to undertake agency shifts, how can I be sure this is worth my while?

    We cannot guarantee you work, our work is dependent on the demand for temporary staffing from our clients throughout the country. We do however book a lot of temporary hours every week and our consultants are extremely pro-active, therefore affording you the best work opportunities in the market.
